We are now making hair braids that can be plaited into the hair. A bead threader is used to pull a section of hair through a small loop at the top of the braid, and then more hair is used to form a plait that falls alongside the hair braid. A small elastic band is used to secure the plait at the end. This means that the hair braids can be easily put in and removed as needed. It is simple to do and can be done by anyone who is familiar with plaiting hair.
